Participants
It is expected that the conference will bring together scholars, researchers and practitioners to present their research findings and views, towards the documentation, preservation, protection and re-orientation of people’s perception of the Yorùbá traditional festivals. Scholars in Yorùbá Studies, African Traditional Religions, Sociology, Anthropology, History, African Literature, Archaeology, Ethnography, Linguistics, Music, Performing/Theatre Arts, Cultural Studies, and so forth, will congregate at the Lagos State University in August 2011.  It is expected that the conference will also draw scholars and practitioners from vast Diaspora of the Yoruba and around the world.

Abstract should not be more than 600 words using 12 pts of Times New Roman font. Deadline for submission of abstracts is July 10, 2011. Notification of acceptance will be sent out soon as abstracts are received.
